Together with the ceramic label SHOKKI, the editors of TOO MUCH Magazine read "The Sacred" issue. We were moved by artist Tadanori Yokoo's discussion of the relationship between the sacred and the profane and inspired by his personal collection of Nirvana statues to create 108 images of the reclining Buddha. Buddhism says there are 108 vexations in the human mind, and Yokoo's words guided SHOKKI to create 108 images of the reclining Buddha.
